Problem with WiK (Ebon Vanguard Allies) - Guild Wars Forums

How do I do Ebon Vanguard Allies? I've tried to get a good deed but am unable to (Know I haven't done the Wintersday cheer, and that I HAVE done missing vanguard) I've read the walkthrough on wiki of Ebon Vanguard Allies but none of it helps. Not sure what I'm missing or what side quest is messing me up

Have you got either a Good Deed or Ebon Vanguard Allies in your quest log? If you have Ebon Vanguard allies, you must give Thackeray the gifts. Have you done that?

I forget in what order, but go to Hall of monuments.

Thackery should walk in and BS with gwen, sit thru that, if he doesn't come.

Go outside of eotn and thackery should be there to give quest.

I did this and seems I've made some progress. I did it like 3 times but I think I exited like 1 sec too soon or something lol. Now I just have to farm the gifts x.X
